Tangram Ten // Cortney Corden

Please join us in welcoming Cortney Corden to Tangram! Cortney is joining the team as a Designer for our Newport Beach office, previously working in similar roles at various design firms and universities around the globe. This Michigan native pulls her inspiration from her travels and cultural experiences. We look forward to having Cortney’s fresh perspective, expertise and dedication as great new resources for the team. Welcome to the Family, we’re happy to have you!

2. Where is your hometown?

Lansing, Michigan

3. What type of company did you work at previously and what was your role there?

Designer /Project Manager /Creative Initiatives Associate for design firms and universities, working throughout the United States, Asia and Europe.

4. If you won the lottery, what would be the first thing you do?

I would want to share the wealth!  And explore the world as I am most inspired personally and in my design work by travels and cultural experiences.

5. If you were an animal, what animal would you be and why?

My Chinese Zodiac Sign of the Dog, as I believe I am friendly, loyal, enjoy being with a team, dependable,  straightforward, have a strong sense of responsibility, and enjoy the autumn season most.

6. If you had to eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?

SUSHI….. because I love sushi!

7. What are you most looking forward to in your new role at Tangram?

Solving the “puzzles” of awesome design projects that will be both aesthetically pleasing, and functional for our end users.  And meeting all the amazing people that are part of the Tangram Team!

Architect or a Teacher

My expertise and background toward best solutions in design challenges; hard-work and dedication, as well as “working- smart;” heart and perhaps a bit of fun!
