When Swing Set, a video production company with a client list including Maserati and Post Malone, moved to Long Beach, Tangram and Studio Other were engaged to provide workstations, ancillary furniture, and custom solutions for the open office, private offices, reception, podcast rooms, edit bays, VIP lounge, breakroom, and wellness room.

Swing Set wanted the space to represent their brand and be inviting and comfortable for their clients who come in for working sessions. Our team provided a wide range of ancillary furniture from a variety of manufacturers that were unmatched in lush aesthetics with an emphasis on comfort. The client incorporated a lot of artwork throughout the space for a unique and lively feel which the furniture nicely complemented.

The Studio Other team designed a custom reception design and five unique mixing desks in the editing bay. Swing Set's primary goal for the desks was to accommodate all the technology and equipment required for recording, editing, and mixing. Made with multi-ply surfaces with a soft eased edge for ergonomics, curved rolled steel end panels, and vintage amp-inspired storage cabinets, each unique desk tied back into the overall architecture and design direction. Similarly, the reception desk features a beautiful wave-shaped steel front that plays into the space's theme.

Because Swing Set is in the creative space themselves, they were heavily engaged in the design of each piece, ensuring that each desk was highly functional and meshed with the overall vision for the space.
