Edwards Lifesciences is a prominent worldwide brand that creates patient-centered medical innovations primarily for heart illness and is also involved in critical care and surgical monitoring. Tangram has maintained a longstanding relationship with Edwards, curating furniture for many of their work and amenity spaces, including the new LINC Lounge. Teaming up with the design company OFFICEUNTITLED, Tangram helped reimagine their 18,000-square-foot space.

The goal was for LINC to serve as an event space for both employees and clients. The space features an indoor and outdoor bar, a live band studio setup, several conference rooms, an outdoor lounge area, and many indoor lounge vignettes. Edwards wanted the space to feel like a high-end bar lounge at a boutique hotel, providing all the comforts of a top-tier hospitality experience.

Tangram provided an intentionally curated furniture selection acquired from well-known manufacturers like Blu Dot, Bolia, Industry West, DPG, and Custom Upholstery Elements.

At the heart of the design are the lush velvet West Elm Belle sofas, custom modulated to curve within the surrounding decorative shelves and outfitted in rich varying cool-toned shades. Comfortable lounge seating both indoors and outdoors was provided in luxurious materials, such as velvet, mohair, and leather, achieving the elevated hosting space Edwards envisioned.

Tangram's team demonstrated their outstanding capacity to comprehend the client's vision, collaborating with OFFICEUNTITLED and Edwards to deliver a space that not only fulfilled but exceeded expectations. The LINC Café at Edwards Lifesciences now serves to welcome and host various groups in its equally comfortable and cool modern interior.
