Air France Lounge at LAX
A touch of French elegance has landed at Los Angeles International Airport — and it’s here just in time for the 2024 Paris Olympics. Air France revealed its new 11,840-square-foot lounge, the airline’s first at LAX and sixth overall in the U.S.
The gorgeous 172-seat enclave features expansive tarmac views along with signature shades of blue, luminous whites, and touches of red for a sleek and chic aesthetic.
At the heart of the lounge is a brasserie-style dining area offering a broad variety of classic French provisions and a full-service bar with a variety of seating, including bar seats, or more private areas with booths or armchairs. A private area for La Première passengers and a Clarins spa and wellness area take this lounge to the upper echelon.
Tangram provided all furniture for the entire lounge, including the open lounge, quiet rooms, the private La Première area, the dining area, bar, and the reception. The pieces selected met the elevated and high-end goals for the space, with sculptural pieces like the Ribbon Chair by Artifort. High-back Fritz Hansen and Vitra seating offers elegant comfort and privacy, while mod-style Roche Bobois and Louis Poulsen lamps add the chic final touch.
