Tangram Ten // Victor Medina

Please join us in welcoming Victor Medina to Tangram! Victor is joining the Flooring team as an Estimator. He brings 14 years of professional flooring experience, including customer service, pricing, management and outside sales.  The need-to-know: With Prince as his inspiration, Victor’s go-to karaoke song is “Love Shack,” which he, of course, performs with his wife. His performance on the stage is equally matched by his performance on the court, proven by Victor’s 1996 racquetball state ranking. In addition to these skills, we are thrilled to have his extensive flooring knowledge and insight as assets to the team. Welcome, Victor, we’re so happy to have you!

3. What type of company did you work at previously and what was your role there?

Big D Floor Covering, Outside Sales for the Inland Empire

4. What is a fun fact about yourself?

I play racquetball and was ranked 3rd in California back in 1996 (B division).

5. If you were trapped on an island which three things would you want to have with you and why?

My family, a herd of cows and a house.

6. What is the craziest thing you’ve ever eaten?

I’m not into sea food, but we went to Puerto Nuevo just south of Rosarito. The little town is well known for its lobster tails. I was challenged to eat a lobster tail, let’s just say it was not a pretty outcome.

7. What are you most looking forward to in your new role at Tangram?

I am looking forward to learning all the services that Tangram has to offer and being a productive member of the team.

8. What is your go-to Karaoke song and why?

“Love Shack” by the B-52s. It’s a song my wife and I like to sing together.

9. You’re throwing a party, what would be the theme and who would be the guest of honor?

The theme would be 1999 and Prince would be the guest of honor.

10. What do you hope to bring to the Tangram team?

I hope to bring more knowledge and insight in the flooring industry.
