Tangram Ten // Elaine Abram

Please join us in welcoming Elaine Abram to Tangram! Elaine  will be joining the team as a Designer. While a student at the Interior Designers Institute, she gathered professional sales and design experience from various companies, including Restoration Hardware. After graduating in 2016 with a degree in Interior Architecture, Elaine worked at a hotel renovation firm before making her way to Tangram. When she’s not in the office, you may find her skydiving or singing her heart out to country music. Her experience, energy and fresh perspective will all be valuable assets to the team. 2. Where is your hometown?

West Covina, CA

3. What type of company did you work at previously and what was your role there?

I worked for a hotel renovation company where I was an associate interior designer.

4. What is a fun fact about yourself?

I went skydiving last year for my birthday last year and I am considering making it a birthday tradition!

5. If you were trapped on an island which three things would you want to have with you and why?

Solar powered charger, filter water bottle and knife.

6. What is the craziest thing you’ve ever eaten?

That’s a tough one, I don’t do a whole lot of crazy foods.  The first time I tried Unagi, I was reluctant, but now I love it!

7. What are you most looking forward to in your new role at Tangram?

I look forward developing my skillset into a more focused role to where I can help contribute to the success and growth of the company.

8. What is your go-to Karaoke song and why?

Friends in Low Places, because it is such a great song!

9. You’re throwing a party, what would be the theme and who would be the guest of honor?

Phantom of the Opera theme with Brett Eldredge as the guest of honor.

10. What do you hope to bring to the Tangram team?

I hope to bring new energy and perspective from my background in both retail and working in the A&D environment.
