Tangram 10

Meet Adriana Gonzalez

Please join us in welcoming Adriana Gonzalez to Tangram! Adriana is joining the Dallas team as a Designer, previously interning at an architecture firm. This recent graduate loves photography, ice cream and Christmas. We are thrilled to have her on the team as she learns and grows with the company! Welcome, Adriana, we're happy to have you!

1. Name, title?

Hello, I am Adriana Gonzalez, I am a designer!

2. Where is your hometown and where do you live now?

My hometown is San Fernando Valley but I was raised in Fort Worth Texas (I still claim I am from California, though.)

3. What type of company did you work at previously and what was your role there?

I worked for a Historical Preservation Architecture Firm as an Interior Design Intern.

4. What would we most likely find you doing on the weekend?

I just graduated and now I am trying to figure out what I like to do… other than always doing homework! I do enjoy taking photos and hope to get back into that hobby.

5. When people visit your town, what are the top local spot(s) you recommend to them?

a. Stockyards: If you want to experience the “Wild West.”

b. Downtown Historic Grapevine: If you come during the Christmas season, this area feels like you are in a Christmas movie!

c. Deep Ellum: If you're more interested in the arts, music, and food

6. What is your favorite memory from the past year?

Last year, I went to Puerto Vallarta and fell in love with it. I got to release baby sea turtles into the ocean!

7. Salty or Sweet? What’s your favorite snack?

Any moment is a great time to get ice cream or a smoothie!

8. Do you have a favorite quote, piece of advice, or core value you live by?

For some reason since I was a kid, my favorite quote has always been, “Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It's not.” It's from Dr Seuss' The Lorax.

9. Show us your true colors! Which professional and/or college team(s) do you cheer for?

I don’t watch sports but when I see the LA Dodgers play or the Mexican soccer team, I cheer them on!

10. What are you most looking forward to at Tangram and what do you hope to bring to the team?

I’m looking for a new challenge that can help me broaden my experience and I believe Tangram will do just that!  With my skill set and experience, this would give me an opportunity to build relationships and learn new things!
