The software, which makes the reporting process easier, provides a mobile app that employees can use to quickly report inappropriate or discriminatory conduct. Reports can then be used to make adjustments to the work environment to make it a safer, more humane place.

Collaboration

It’s estimated that workplace collaboration can boost productivity by as much as 30 percent, according to McKinsey & Company. So it’s no wonder that programs such as Slack, a workflow app that allows users to communicate and share files, and Google Docs, another document sharing program, have become fixtures in many offices. These tools are designed to help break down barriers to communication, allowing employees situated in disparate locations to work together more efficiently.

Work-Life Balance

How can employees take care of their families and other obligations and still manage to handle their responsibilities at the office? Tools such as Workplace Facebook, an app that allows workers to make video calls or have quick chats with fellow workers, is one means of providing the flexibility that busy employees need. Also, programs such as Trello and Slack help firms handle work assignments and stay in touch with their workforce.
