The Trade Desk is a technology company that empowers buyers of advertising. The Trade Desk provides a self-service platform that enables ad buyers to manage data-driven digital advertising campaigns using their own teams across various advertising formats, including display, video, and social, and on a multitude of devices, including computers, mobile devices, and connected TV.

While The Trade Desk’s headquarters is located in Ventura, California, rapid growth prompted the company to open another office farther south in Irvine. The Trade Desk wanted their new space to have the following characteristics: open and transparent; collaborative in a familial atmosphere, timeless and modern; and reflective of their brand and culture.

The design philosophy was to capitalize on the client’s strong brand identity and relaxed beach town vibe and marry that with a clean, curated, and sophisticated look that reflects the city of Irvine. A base pallet of a bright white was used throughout the project with accents of their secondary brand colors for a pop.

Tangram provided task chairs, benching, tables and lounge furniture for the open office, private offices, conference spaces, café, lounge spaces and the reception. Each piece was selected to match and enhance the clean and bright tones of the space while pulling in complementary pops of color.
