Meet Robin Shaffer

‍Join us in welcoming Robin Shaffer to Tangram. Robin will be joining us in Dallas as our Showroom Manager, she comes to us with a wealth of industry experience. She enjoys hiking and challenging herself daily with crossword puzzles. Welcome to the team Robin, we're happy to have you!

2. Where is your hometown and where do you live now?

I grew up In Elmhurst, a suburb of Chicago, and moved to Dallas when I got out of college where I still reside.

3. What type of company did you work at previously and what was your role there?

I have enjoyed being the Showroom Manager at Teknion for the past several years.

4. What would we most likely find you doing on the weekend?

I live on the Katy Trail which is a delightful hiking path. Saturday morning I take off with the weekend crossword puzzle, walk a few miles and then park myself at a lovely patio and watch the world go by.

5. When people visit your town, what are the top local spot(s) you recommend to them?

When my friends come to visit seems like we always start our visit at Beverley's for martini's.

6. What is a topic you wish you knew more about or a skill you want to learn/improve?

Salsa dancing! It just looks like fun.

7. Tell us about the best or most memorable meal you've cooked or eaten! What made it special?

Recently my son hosted a family dinner cooking the favorite recipes from his childhood. It was really special.

10. What are you most looking forward to at Tangram and what do you hope to bring to the team?

I'm very excited to be part of something new. It's energizing, challenging and so rewarding when there's that moment when it all comes together. I hope my previous experiences will bring confidence and laughter to the team.
