Meet Kristina Owens

Please join us in welcoming Kristina Owens to Tangram! She is joining the Tangram Dallas team as Director of Training and Learning Development. When she's not in the office, you can find Kristina catching up on time with her daughter or binging a new Bravo show. She's looking forward to rejoining the Tangram team and getting to know everyone again. We are thrilled to have you here at Tangram!

1. What is your name and job title?
Kristina Owens, Director of Training & Development

2. Where is your hometown and where do you live now?
I'm from Ladera Heights, CA and currently live in Dallas, TX

3. What type of company did you work at previously and what was your role there?
I previously worked for a tech company called Scribd, and was the People Development Director

4. What would we most likely find you doing on the weekend?
Spending time with my daughter, enjoying brunch with my friends, or binge-watching a show on Bravo.

5. When people visit your town, what are the top local spot(s) you recommend to them?
I'm still new to the area, but I enjoy the Shops at Legacy, The Star, Grandscape, and Highland Park Village.

6. What's a topic you wish you knew more about or a skill you want to learn/improve?
I like to paint but I'm not very good at it, and if I had more spare time I would take some classes.

7. Tell us about the best or most memorable meal you've cooked or eaten! What made it special?
2 years ago I hosted my first Thanksgiving for my family (30 guests), and it was special because I had never cooked for that many people before. This was also my daughter's first big holiday, so many memories were made.

8. What is your favorite memory from the past year?
Moving to Dallas and experiencing my first Christmas in Texas.

9. Show us your true colors! Which professional and/or college team(s) do you cheer for?
I'm an LA native so Lakers all day!

10. What are you most looking forward to at Tangram and what do you hope to bring to the team?
I'm looking forward to rejoining the team and getting to know everyone. I hope to contribute to the team's success by implementing training that is engaging as well as empowering and creates an environment of continuous learning.
