Meet Austin Halford
Please join us in welcoming Austin Halford to Tangram! Austin is joining the Dallas team as a Graphic Designer, bringing a versatile marketing and design background with him. When not in the office, you can find him enjoying quality time with his girlfriend and furry companions or cooking his favorite meal, sesame chicken & fried rice. Austin Halford, Graphic Designer
2. Where is your hometown and where do you live now?
Dallas, Texas born and raised.
3. What type of company did you work at previously and what was your role there?
I worked freelance as a graphic designer, illustrator, digital marketer and PR specialist. I wore a lot of hats!
4. What would we most likely find you doing on the weekend?
Hanging with my girlfriend and pups, enjoying the time off.
5. When people visit your town, what are the top local spot(s) you recommend to them?
The Armoury and Twilite Lounge.
6. What's a topic you wish you knew more about or a skill you want to learn/improve?
Animation, 2D and 3D!
7. Tell us about the best or most memorable meal you've cooked or eaten! What made it special?
My favorite meal to cook is sesame chicken and fried rice. Nothing makes it particularly special, but it's delicious and hits the spot every time.
8. What is your favorite memory from the past year?
Going to a Dallas Stars playoff game. The atmosphere was electric and it was a blast from start to finish.
9. Show us your true colors! Which professional and/or college team(s) do you cheer for?
Dallas Stars and Dallas Cowboys. I attended a Cowboys game while I was still in the womb. Been a fan since before day 1.
10. What are you most looking forward to at Tangram and what do you hope to bring to the team?
Working with such an incredible group of people that I can learn from and grow with. I hope to bring a positive attitude, reliable work ethic, and enthusiasm for every project I'm associated with.
