Meet Abigail Chaput
Please join us in welcoming Abigail Chaput to Tangram! She is joining the Newport Tangram team as an Office Manager. When she's not in the office, you can find Abigail hanging with friends and family or soaking up some sun by the pool or at the beach. She's really looking forward to learning more about the furniture industry and making new connections. We are thrilled to have you here at Tangram!
1. What is your name and job title?
Abigail Chaput - Office Manager, Newport Beach
2. Where is your hometown and where do you live now?
Claremont, CA is my hometown, but moving to Orange County soon!
3. What type of company did you work at previously and what was your role there?
I worked for the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation as a Development Associate. My role focused on event planning, PR, and community relations.
4. What would we most likely find you doing on the weekend?
Going to the beach, roadtrips with friends, soccer games with my family, or relaxing by the pool!
5. When people visit your town, what are the top local spot(s) you recommend to them?
I would recommend a few restaurants like Gus's BBQ, Aruffo's, 42nd Street Bagel, and Creme Bakery. After eating I would recommend walking and shopping around the Claremont Village.
6. What's a topic you wish you knew more about or a skill you want to learn/improve?
I wish I knew how to speak multiple languages, specifically Spanish or Italian!
7. Tell us about the best or most memorable meal you've cooked or eaten! What made it special?
Each year my family makes homemade ravioli for Christmas dinner. This is always a special meal to make and enjoy with my entire extended family each year!
8. What is your favorite memory from the past year?
One of my favorite memories this year was travelling around Europe with my best friend for a couple of weeks. Copenhagen and Prague being my favorite cities that we visited!
9. Show us your true colors! Which professional and/or college team(s) do you cheer for?
LAFC and Dodgers!
10. What are you most looking forward to at Tangram and what do you hope to bring to the team?
I am looking forward to learning more about the industry and meeting so many like-minded individuals throughout the company!
