J2 Global is a leading Internet information and services company with a portfolio of brands that reaches over 230 million people per month. When the organization began to plan their move to their new Los Angeles office, design firm Wolcott engaged Tangram to furnish the two 19,000 square-foot floors.Their previous space was dominated by colorful and high-walled cubicles, with few meeting rooms and lounge spaces. With the opportunity to rethink the environment with the move, J2 requested an open space with accessible meeting rooms and ancillary spaces for their staff. Tangram provided a cohesive collection of ancillary and conference pieces from a wide range of manufactures, including Steelcase, Coalesse, AMQ, West Elm Work, Blu Dot, ESI, SitOnItSeating, Design Public Group, Industry West and Naughtone. The end result was a clean and aesthetic workspace with furniture that enhanced the high-visible spaces they inhabited.
