Please join us in welcoming Meg Moussamih to Tangram! Meg is joining the Flooring team as a Designer, bringing similar experience from a DTLA interior design firm. Find this world traveller dazzling a room with her smile, making fries or teaching yoga. We are thrilled to have her positivity and willingness to learn as wonderful new additions to the team. Welcome, Meg, we’re happy to have you!
1. Name, title?
Megan Aicha Moussamih, but you can call me Meg. I am the very first Project Designer for Tangram Flooring!
2. Where is your hometown?
I was born in Orlando, FL and have lived all over the place, but I’d say I “grew up” in Fall River, Massachusetts.
3. What type of company did you work at previously and what was your role there?
My previous role was Interior Designer at a small, women owned + operated interior design firm in DTLA.
4. If you won the lottery, what would be the first thing you do?
Gosh, the very first thing I would do is call my dad. Then, big picture, I would pay off any and all debt my family and friends have, give them a bunch of money, give a bunch of money to the ACLU and spend the rest of my days traveling the world. I’m a lil’ travel nerd!
5. If you were an animal, what animal would you be and why?
A flamingo! Who wouldn’t want to be pink and fabulous.
6. If you had to eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?
Oh, this is so unfair! Right now I would choose potatoes, they’re so versatile! Mmmmm, fries. But also, the Moroccan in me would eat Mediterranean food forever and ever. Mmmmm, hummus.
7. What are you most looking forward to in your new role at Tangram?
Learning! I love learning and I think I’m going to learn a whole bunch from this position.
8. What was your dream job growing up?
I don’t think I ever had a dream job growing up. I was always so curious about everything (and still am!) that I never became so focused on one specific thing.
9. Which emoji do you use the most?
Crying laughing – life is just so funny. I’m always smiling or laughing. Silly story, but when my partner and I first met he said, “Is your face just always like that?” Might seem like an insult, but I was smiling ear to ear. 🙂
10. What do you hope to bring to the Tangram team?
I hope to bring (even more) fun to Tangram. I hope to work hard and also remind everyone that we have the chance to make our lives super joyful. Not to say that things can’t get difficult, but there is always light, always something to be grateful for. (I’m a yoga teacher so obviously this is my answer).
